Founder and CEO

Erica DyReyes attended seven different schools by the time she graduated high school. She moved around the country as a child, so she learned very early in life that the best way to make new friends was simply to be nice.

Erica fell in love with employment law because it was largely based on doing the right thing, following the rules… and being nice to people.

After law school, Erica spent most of her career as an Employee Relations Director at Aramark, providing consulting and training to HR, managers, and employees on a variety of topics. She realized that even large corporations needed additional resources to manage HR compliance.

In 2018, Erica founded Employee Relations Consulting to provide proactive training, consulting, and coaching and ensure fairness, respect, and legally compliant treatment of all employees. In addition to her formal education and training, Erica offers practical, real-world experience applying laws and regulations, implementing policies on a national scale, involving all stakeholders in the process, and conducting investigations according to legal standards.

Areas of expertise include policy interpretation and application, leaves of absence, accommodation requests, discipline, documentation, EEOC responses, mediations, workplace civility initiatives, investigations, and DEI initiatives.
